Our Leaders

Siddharth Boyanapalli

PRESIDENT

Siddharth is a mechanical engineer with a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, Montreal.

Prior to Rotman, he worked for firms that designed and built flight simulators for the Canadian Aviation industry to ensure high quality pilot training and safety. He held a plethora of roles from mechanical designer, and product configuration manager to finally project manager of development programs. During this time he has been able to work with Tier 1 airlines and the largest aircraft OEMs to help design and build flight simulation products for their pilot training and aircraft development needs. 

Siddharth will be working this summer with ZS Associates as a Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant and is excited for this new journey as a management consultant.

Raza Anees

Executive Vice President

Raza completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2015.

Since graduating, Raza has worked in the downstream natural gas, manufacturing, and facilities maintenance sectors as a mechanical engineer, business strategist, and digital technology innovation advisor. In his last role prior to joining Rotman, Raza streamlined business processes by applying advanced technology such as predictive analytics and IoT to partly automate redundant and repetitive maintenance tasks.

Raza will be pursuing his summer internship at Adobe as a Digital Strategy Associate in their San Francisco office and he is excited to explore the US tech industry.

Pearl Ray

VICE PRESIDENT, COMMUNICATION ​

Pearl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. 

Prior to Rotman, Pearl worked at India’s largest oil and gas company for 4 years in diverse functions such as operations, planning & performance management and strategy. In her last role, she worked with senior executives on defining the strategy for revamping a $6B traditional hydrocarbon business to a new energy and materials business. She is passionate about advocating for diversity in STEM and has served as a volunteer, member and Global Ambassador for the Society of Women Engineers India. 

For her summer internship, Pearl is excited to pivot to consulting and will be joining Kearney as a Summer Associate.

David Manzo

VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNAL

David holds both Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering Physics and Economics from Queen’s University.

During his final year at Queen’s and post-graduation David worked at Bombardier Research & Design teams working towards developing the next generation of electric and induction motors for light-rail transportation. More recently he’s worked at the Bank of Canada on their trading desk and operations team creating the models that underpin the Bank’s market operations and designing the Quantitative Easing programs.

This summer David is working on climate technology through Chrysalix Venture’s climate change fund, focused on investing into early-stage hard-tech and industrial companies.

Raghav Kanotra

VICE PRESIDENT, EXTERNAL

Raghav holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Dubai.

Prior to Rotman, Raghav worked in the Middle East for 5 years in project management roles in the oil & gas industry. He led multiple oil & gas platform modernization projects, deploying critical automaton and telecommunication technologies in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Raghav is also passionate about strategy board games, which help him hone his decision-making and planning skills.

Raghav is excited to work with CIBC this summer as a TLAP Associate with their Enterprise Payments team.

Derek Collins

Professional Programs

Derek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Prior to Rotman, Derek worked as a structural engineering consultant in the aerospace industry at RF Collins Consulting. Clients included Field Aviation and Canadensys.

Post-MBA, Derek is looking to apply his engineering mindset and team skills to a career in management consulting. Starting with a Summer position at EY in their Business Transformation practice.
